The "Lofthouse All Blacks"
Over the last few years we have expanded our Training Section and this now includes a Beginner Section.
We have purchased numerous new instruments and have been assisted in this from a number of organisations, for this assistance we thank them greatly.
Anyone of any standard or ability is welcome to come along to the training band. Players do not need to be able to read music or have played an instrument before.
Complete beginners are welcome as well as those who can already read or play music to the Saturday morning classes. Music and instruments are provided to all for a small weekly subscription.
Eventually, when a certain standard is reached beginners are encouraged to join the youth band which meets every Thursday evening.
The Lofthouse All Blacks are tutored by the experienced conductor and teacher, Peter Kitson. We are always on the look out for new members whether they are complete beginners or more advanced. We provide children with an instrument, tuition and any music required. Whatever your standard we have a place for you.
