Like many bands in these strange times Lofthouse Brass Band has been staving off the boredom by hosting Zoom meetings, not only a weekly quiz but also by inviting special guests into the meetings.

Cory band’s principal cornet, Tom Hutchinson, has been featured as well as Trombonist/Conductor, Kevin Holdgate.

“The meetings have proved to be insightful and fun as the guests have shared stories from their careers and offered guidance on improving playing and practice techniques.”

We hope to host more of these sessions over the next few months to keep the members inspired over these difficult times.
