Repiano Cornet
Thomas joined Lofthouse Beginners Band at the age of 7, after being loaned a cornet at one of the Band open days. He worked his way through Intermediate Band (now Brass Roots) and joined the senior Band in 2017. He still plays with Brass Roots as principal cornet, but is thoroughly enjoying the challenges of senior band and being a part of the amazing back line cornet section (which is, incidentally, the most awesome section in the band).
Away from Band, his other interests include acting, singing, golf and Xbox gaming.
Position in Band: Repiano cornet
Instrument: Besson
Favourite food: Sausages
Favourite drink: Fanta
Favourite non-Brass Band: Queen
Most embarrassing Band moment: aged 9, during a concert in which he was playing solo cornet in ‘Highland Farewell’ and fluffed the very last note (it was a top G though)!
