After 3 months of intense practice of the test piece Pilgrim’s Progress by Rodney Newton, Lofthouse 2000 finished a creditable 10th place in our first ever 2nd section contest. Whilst we were all a little disappointed with the result it really was a great experience, a lot of hard work, and a long journey from the 4th section a few years ago with many in the band improving massively. We now look forward to next year when the pressure will be on to finish high to maintain our 2nd section position. Thankyou to all our supporters in particular those who joined us for our open rehearsal.
